The Flex, Tone, and Stretch replicate the human hands are by the use of rollers in the chair back. These rollers have been designed to mimic various massage techniques that provide a wide array of therapeutic benefits to your spine. Easy-to-use buttons allow your muscles to get exactly what they need, based on your needs.

• Stretch - The stretch technique kneads your back in small circular motions on both sides of your spine at the same time stretching the muscles to the side.
• Flex - The massage strokes are alternating rapid strokes that stimulate the spinal muscles and joints. This type of percussive massage is used in sports therapy.
• Tone - Tone combines the circular kneading motions stretching the muscles and the rapid tapping percussion strokes to really work your back muscles.
• Glide - The glide technique will gently go up and down your spine with the massage roller. This type of technique will reduce tension and warm up your back muscles.

Swivel Base

The base of the Wholebody 7.1 massage chair is able to swivel up to 55 degrees. This will allow you to rotate the massage chair while you are in it in order to reach things more easily. No other massage company uses a swivel base in their massage chairs.
