The OS-4000T has a light-med depth massage chair on its standard setting. To make it deeper, you have to remove the padding and recline the chair back. It also has a head pillow with airbags that push down on the shoulders. This is nice, but not as good as having the rollers directly on the back.

The Refresh has a med-deep massage and has Smart Curve technology that allows for a much deeper neck massage on its standard setting. It also is able to squeeze and massage the sides of the neck. The neck massage is one of the best features on the Refresh, and it is much deeper than the OS-4000T.
Shoulder Airbags

The Osaki OS-4000 shoulder airbags come around the shoulders and is tight on some users. This is the main reason we get returns for this chair, and most of our customers end up exchanging for a chair with a little more room.
Ogawa Refresh Plus
The Ogawa Refresh Plus has flared out shoulder airbags, which you can see in the picture. This allows users with broader shoulders to fit more comfortably since they do not wrap around the entire shoulder.
Hip Airbags

The Osaki OS-4000T has hip airbags that squeeze on the sides of the hips and legs applying a compression massage. This is a great feature if you have tight IT Bands (Iliotibial Bands).
Ogawa Refresh Plus
